cant sleep?
I'm having trouble sleeping
You're jumping in my bed
Twisting in my head
Leave me
I'm having trouble breathing
You're sitting on my chest
I sure could use the rest
Leave me
-The Perishers
I stole this poem from Taylor Rippy, the moment I read this I knew that I'd steal it someday. Today is that day because I can't sleep. I havn't been able to for a while now.
endearment
Ray Lamontagne is one of my favorite artists right now. He sings mostly about love. I love that.

listening
Coachella 2011
Film Pictures taken by Jordan DeVard There is nothing like being immersed in the crowed, standing in the heat, walking with bare feet on the grass, and watching 100,000 people become united by the only thing that makes us one. All different varieties of people show up from all over the world to join together and just listen. You can sit far behind the crowed on an dirty blanket, lay on your back while looking at the stars, or push and shove your way to the front in hopes of absorbing some of the sound. Either way the noise carries to you and connects you. |
the new
Blogging is not just any new discovery of mine, it is the discovery. Myspace, facebook, twitter, and many other online social websites all seem to fade away and become less appealing. Blogging, on the other hand, is a way to keep track of my memories, ideas, aspirations, and life experiences through simplicity and awareness. I feel I am many years behind in the blogging world, but in a way it is a perfect time for me to begin. I move to Hawaii in less than a month and I'll be leaving behind everything I know while stepping into the new, and taking with me only a few boxes. It is my time to say goodbye to San Diego, to my family, and to my home. This blog will be my way of sharing my experiences with those I've left behind, and those I've taken with me.
It is just the beginning...
